How do I register? |
|
|
Registration involves filling out the Employee's Registration Form that is available on the Downloadable Forms section. The form must be submitted with a birth certificate or passport. |

When do I claim for Maternity Benefit? |
|

Claim for Maternity benefit should be made no earlier than 6 weeks before the date of expected confinement but no later than 4 weeks after the confinement date. |

What if I do not have 500 contributions? |
|

If you do not quality for an Age pension, you may qualify for an Age grant. To qualify for an Age grant you must be 65 years and have contributed at least 50 contributions but less than 500 contributions. |

How do I qualify for a Funeral Grant? |
|
|
To qualify for a Funeral Grant, the insured person must have paid 26 weeks of contributions (6 months). A Funeral Grant assists with the expenses of:
- An insured person
- The wife or husband of an insured person or
- A dependant child of an insured person (a dependant child is a child
under the age of 15 years and if in full-time education, under the age
of 21).
